“Camp Barnabas, The Story”:
With the team at Blend Studio, I helped to direct the content in the following video about how Camp Barnabas started.

“Camper Arrival”:
With the team at Blend Studio, I helped to direct the content in the following video to highlight one of the greatest events during the summer at Camp Barnabas: Camper Arrival. Each camper is introduced and cheered for as they arrive to Camp Barnabas, a summer camp for adults and children with disabilities.

“Because of You”:
I came up with the following campaign highlighting the effect a week at summer camp has on Camp Barnabas campers. These cards were used as a recruiting piece for volunteers. In this design, the volunteers are shown in grey and the campers are highlighted in color. During a week at Camp Barnabas, campers experience love, joy, and the excitement of inclusion and acceptance. All copy by Kylie Wright.

“Steve-O and Connor”:
While working with Camp Barnabas, I wanted to start highlighting the relationships of campers and volunteers that started at camp. This is one of those stories: Steve-O and Connor met at Camp Barnabas and soon became lifelong friends outside of camp. This piece was included in a donor letter sent by the organization. “Ability”:
I wanted to design and write an impactful piece that showed society’s label of “disability” through Camp Barnabas’ standards. Rather than focusing on a camper’s disability, Camp Barnabas focuses on each camper’s abilities. The label “disability” is erased and a camper is seen as who they truly are. “Martha Grace and Sarah”:
Martha Grace and Sarah are an example of a friendship that exists apart from labels and diagnoses. It is a friendship based on joy, fun and laughter. I saw an opportunity to share a meaningful story to communicate the impact Camp Barnabas has on their campers and volunteers. This card was sent as a donor letter from the organization. “Discovery Weekend”:
This is the story of Mason, a first time Camp Barnabas camper. This story was sent by email from a camper mom. I wanted to highlight this amazing story for first time Camp Barnabas camper parents. I used this story in a recruiting piece I designed for “Discovery Weekend,” a weekend for parents to learn more about Camp Barnabas. All copy by Kylie Wright
